Dear _________,

If you’re gonna wait to push off until I begin to flip-turn, I understand.  Chances are, you saw my stroke and concluded you were a faster swimmer than me.

However, if we’re the only two people in the lane and I end up catching up to you and passing you repeatedly, please don’t continually keep waiting until the last fucking moment to push off. I don’t like being slowed down by a considerable margin, especially when you go into breaststroke, and I much less like being forced to pass people.
Please, pleeeeease just wait until after I flip turn.  I quickly passed you every time you pushed off, for crying out loud.
